We have found that children within the ages of  6 weeks to 5 years can be very fussy eaters and it is hard to provide a meal that all children will enjoy every day.

Our parents know what their children love to eat each day and it is very important that children have a healthy lunch. Therefore we ask parents to provide just the children’s lunch which enables to pass the centre savings on our parents via lower fees.

We provide morning tea and afternoon tea plus snacks for the children.

The owners of Mulberry Cottage are a mother and son combination of Pam, Andrew and Monique Peterson which together have over 40years experience operating childcare services.

Our centre director Erin Peterson is also a member of our extended family.

Family values are central to our service and we are not just here to provide the highest level of education to the children at our service but also support our families wherever we can.

Drop in and have a chat with Pam who is at our centres on a daily basis.

We strongly believe children under the age of 2 require a loving, nurturing environment.

Our dedicated babies nursery once was the Mayfield post office and police station that we have converted into a small dedicated centre specialising in the age group from 0 – 2 years of age.

Each room is limited to 8 children split over 3 rooms making the total size of our service to be 24. This enables our educators to provide the highest level of dedicated care for our infants and create a centre that feels more like a home than a childcare service.

This allows us to focus our early learning service for children from 2 years concentrating on experiences and play base learning activities.

Both services open at 7 am and close at 6 pm Monday to Friday. Generally our service is closed between Christmas and New Year.

Mulberry Cottage is an approved service for CCS funding so depending on your circumstances you may qualify for CCS and have the Government pay up to 85% of the daily fee.

If you qualify for CCS than the Government will pay your fee entitlement to the service and you will only be responsible to pay the Gap.
